Our photo shoot was a fun filled success as we took over the city of London
Something a little differient.. I WON A CONTEST!

Throwback: My wedding day an Anniversary tribute
An exciting announcement: we are the new partners
Presenting the beautiful: Mr and Mrs Harrison
We relish receiving pictures from our Castle jewels, especially of them having an absolute blast on their big day!
At the after party we know we will see an over zealous uncle cut some shapes and a once prudent aunt dancing on the table and importantly the Bride and groom having the time of their lives!
Here are our top 5 pictures sent from our own Bespoke Brides... just having fun!
we have been given consent to share....
Warning proceed with caution these images host Brides who know how to have fun!!
5. The Wedding day Selfie/Ce'lfie ..
However you spell it the "Ce'lfie" is the ultimate way to share an instant pic on social media of you having all your wedding day fun, so pull faces, have a smooch, flash us your wedding Bling, do something funny that will make you smile each time you see it.
For this castle jewel we made her whole wedding collection and we were her bridesmaids too!
4. The groovy mover
This is where the whole dance floor clears, waiting for you. So get the Dj to put that song on.. they want to see you drop it like its hot! Make sure you practice a routine as all eyes will be on you!
3. Masquerade Ball
The night truly ends on a high note when we are having a fancy dress party. We created this mask for our American Bride and we are loving the fact that her groom has a mask too its so good when the guys join in too, as we all know us girls are never too old for dress up!
2. Boys just wanna have fun
Speaking of Grooms joining in the fun: this is one of my fave shots ever!
Our Castle Groom and best man playing Hoopla! Its pretty awesome when you have an outdoors festival; Tepee/marquee wedding.
Our beautiful couple had theirs on the grounds of Tutbury castle last year with a stunning marquee and so decided to not have the traditional evening party but lawn games and a live band instead so it was like a mini Gig! Definitely something fun for the alternate Bride to consider.
With her mid-summer wedding in early August this was perfect as the weather was on her side!
1. The Photo Booth
This is our Number one! Wow How much fun are Chris and Mae having on their big day?We love this shot; family and friends all gathered having oodles of fun with the ones that love you most! We love Brides that aren't afraid to be themselves and have a laugh on their wedding day.
BONUS SHOT: The Drunken Angel
This one we love and just couldn't leave out! Although it didn't make our top 5 its still a great one!
We love that our Bride sent this in to us, it shows her literally flying high with her gorgeous wings we made for her at her wedding day. it is so important to have the best time on your big day so much hard work has gone into it make sure you do enjoy yourself to the max.

We were so priviliged to be invated to take part in this shoot. Launching the latest wedding directory, Event Vendors Uk
For any engaged couple, the photography, is truly one of the few things to remind you after you have said your vows just how glorious and wonderful your wedding day was.
Memories fade over time, ask any married couple who jumped the broom 8 or 10 years prior.
They remember: the cake, their dress (of course) and how manic it was to organise Bridesmaids but the little details that seemed so super important at the time, are quite forgotten.
Here at Bespoke Vintage Castle we are all about the little details.
I always stress to our castle Jewels that photography is up there with your extremely important venue choice. That way you cant forget everything as your photographer was so darn good you have memories to last a lifetime!
So Here are my personal top 5 wedding shots that I believe are a must have for your big day.
Print them on Coasters, a couple of mugs or a huge living room canvas, but you wont dismiss these in a hurry!
1. Before the dress Goes on....
This is your perfect time to capture that boudoir shot, no distractions just calm... be a little flirtatious it for his eyes only.
2. Don't forget the rings!
Now I deeply regret not having this done at the time. Try and capture your rings. Your engagement ring and bands, after all; they symbolise your eternal never ending love for one another so enjoy the romance in your shots..
3. Share the love....
This image has a two part (we had to improvise a little) take a beautiful shot with your Mother or Nanna.
I did with my Nanna and it is one of my absolute favourite treasures. Its beautifully sentimental and wonderfully emotional. I am so lucky to have her still with me, and now I have her with me forever and ever in my photography.
Sadly not everyone still has their immediate family, we recently had a bride who had lost both her parents and grandparents leading up to her big day. This was a truly devastating and emotional experience for our Castle Jewell, she did however take comfort in, metaphorically having her mum with her.
This image following is a perfect way to keep your loved ones close to heart even when they have departed. I think spiritually and emotionally its a beautiful thing. I am so glad she went ahead with the wedding, comforted knowing her loved ones were looking down upon her, and were still there with her on her special day.
Every good Photographer is sensitive to that and will honour this shot for you.
4. Have a little fun....
Weddings can be stressful, busy and exciting times sometimes in the run-around of the process we forget to just enjoy one another again. Do not forget the reason why you said "yes" in the first place.
On your big day, have a little fun in your shots, definitely do something crazy and daring!
5.Lastly do that luxe shot!
This the one where its just you, your dress and the most delicious surroundings. Find your fave spot, at the venue; your best flower power corner in the tepee and let the surroundings work their magic. No people, no distractions just you and your groom.
This has to be the shot you can submit to print in a magazine!
(now that's a Mug shot worth keeping)

6. BONUS SHOT...
Ok so it has to be done, if you and your fiancée have that rare, quirky Hobby or special talent, secret identity, you have got to photograph it!!
We had a couple that were fire breathers and they worked their magic in wedding attire. So calling all contortionist, snake charmers and Ballet Dancers this one is for you...
A couple from Liuzhou, Guangxi had their wedding photos taken in a unique and exciting way. Both of them are rock climbing lovers.
Its got to be done!
Thats all!

If your style is totally laid-back and casual, use boho-chic music festivals, like Coachella, to inspire your wedding. Think: a backyard or open-field setting, complete with kitschy details like striped tepees, cocktail hour lounges and picnic-style dining. Keep the colors bright and festive, yet earthy (try sunny yellow and teal paired with terra-cotta). Must-have elements include hand-drawn maps with your invitations and fun, not fussy, wording on your invites (instead of "accept" write "you in?") to really drive home your theme. For the fashion, a gauzy and modern take on the bell-sleeve wedding dress evokes a '70s, Woodstock vibe. Intentionally mismatched bridesmaid dresses will keep the look effortless and easy.

June has been a tirelessly busy but exciting month for us!
Not only are we seeing an increase in our Fabulous clients but we took part in 3 photo shoots 2 of which we hosted ourselves!
It was an ambitious venture but we have conquered all three with massive success! We know there will be many good and exciting things coming our way from the hard work done in the quiet place.
Last week I went down south, back to my home city: London and with several friends in the industry we took on the Big city and did our shoot there.
I attended London Fashion week earlier this year back in February, along with Fashion styling Blogger: Lisa Leung and noted the key trends of 2015 catwalk are:
1. 70s Ultra Glam
2. 70s Bohemian
Colour of the year Being Panetone Marsala.
These are key for this year and Autumn/Winter 2016
Busily we wanted Photographs of our own and thought:
Lets do a shoot , in which we collabourate with the best wedding creatives in the industry, hoping to bring what was hot off the runway into the wedding world.
We wanted images to be will be creative, clever dramatic yet simple using the interiors/exteriors of the chosen venue in the City of London.
We wanted our Photographs will take advantage of both the style of Fashion in the wedding world, and the interiors and Opulent structure, dramatic architectural details of the venue.
The process was Tough but worth it. We secured the best and the shoot was an absolute success.
One week later (still recovering) we cannot spill too much as it is going to press and will feature in magazines and on blogs, but we can say we were honoured and thrilled to have the following wedding creatives involved:
Erik Meijer Photography - Photographer
Ritva Westenieus -Bridal Dresses
Elizabeth's Cake Emporium - Luxury wedding Cake
Kasia Fortuna Hair - Styling
Cristina Lazzarotto - makeup
Wild About Flowers - Flowers & Styling
No 4. Hamilton place - Venue
Models - Sophie Temple, Jack Maling
Bespoke Vintage Castle -Accessories and Brooch Bouquets
I sincerely cant wait to see the first images from this shoot this week, we are on pins and needles in anticipation.
Have a fabulous and blessed day all,
Betty xo
The idea behind my shoot was to have strong 1950s theme with a soft whimsical tea party with an ecclectic Rockabilly mix.
Showcasing the style of poise and precision from the era.
With a hint of the fun loving Rockabilly side too at the end of the decade mixing that retro with modern to make it accessible for the out-doorsy quirky off-beat Bride.
Bridesmaids in Ivory Tulle skirts conveying the fairytale-esque look that is Traditional in weddings and the Bride in a floral print tea dress; The Bride is no longer in white.
-Betty Timbo press interview.
I decided to Host a shoot themed around the 1950s Era focusing on the latter part of the period just before the 1960s,.
Where Great Britain for the first time had disposable income and Hollywood glamour took centre stage in weddings world meaning they were full of beauty accessories and prettiness.
Icons of the Time were Elizabeth Taylor, Maryln Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly.
(the fact that we had 4 models was perfect as each can represent metaphorically one of these icons in their style.
The 1950s by itself has been done before it wasn't anything new to wedding-ville , However I wanted to change it slightly to balance the repetitive approach of this well photographed era.
We incorporated a soft woodsy magical tea party theme to it. This enabled a sense of fun, adding a Bridal softness, and also gives us an opportunity to create a "ideal" in the imagery for the shoot, then brilliantly opposed it with our tattooed Bride.
This is a metaphoric representation of the next generation that followed the 50s- the 1960s
We rebelled as they did in that era; After all why keep with the cliché' of tradition?
We decided on the Bridesmaids being in white/ ivory with the Bride in a floral print tea dress.
Throughout the experience we kept in mind two points:
1. 1950s chic poise and modelling
2.Rockabilly fun!!!
Needless to say the collaboration was a success and we go in to print in July!!
