On attending the prestigious Luxe Afrique Polo Event : July 27th
I was met with delight and excitement. Not just only This is the sixth annual event of the largest polo match in Europe but I had decided to design a bespoke hat that would not only represent bespoke vintage castle but would stand out and be breathtaking amongst all of the decadence colour and excitement.
The concept of this project made me excited and I threw myself straight into work.
I have made so many pieces for beautiful brides all around the world, but it’s very rare that I take the time to make something for myself and I decided that this occasion was going to be just that!
I was set on making a beautiful straw to: match my purse It was had finished with vintage silver leaves and a breathtaking ivory Velvet English Rose, surrounded with deliciously delicate silver feathers for the perfect look.
We took our place in platinum seating after a chauffeur driven experience from our hotel we arrived at Hurtwood Park Polo Club and made our way to the platinum seating area on a red carpet
Throughout the day mingled and made connections I had Countless queries From members of the polo match asking where I had bought my hat from, I was immediately met with Gousto and excitement as I explained to everyone I had designed and made it myself.
My husband and I had the most fabulous day with scrumptious canapés , delightful music surrounded by colourful fashion enlightened by a sense of decadent culture and luxury.
My overall take on the day is that of excellence I would love to go again:
We felt we were taken on a journey that embraced the diversity of Africa in a quintessential British setting I know this is the intention of the event and it was executed well
I am beyond thrilled that my beautiful couture Hat was photographed multiple times and currently features on the Luxe Afrique Polo website and their social media platforms.
